With the new KaVo ARCTICA CAD/CAM System - which is presented as a Future Concept for the first time at the IDS 2011 - diversity and precision are newly-defined. KaVo ARCTICA is optimally adapted to the daily requirements of laboratories and dental practices. It will deliver outstanding performance to dental technicians and dental surgeons - in its class of devices - with consistently perfect results, high quality and no need of further processing. ARCTICA provides maximum flexibility, thanks to its open interfaces, such as uploading various customary intraoral scanner data, to the ARCTICA Design Software. Thus the system offers high sustainability and protection of investment and delivers an efficient CAD/CAM solution, for a broad range of applications and clinical indications, thanks to its optimised, individual components.
ARCTICA Engine – top precision and maximum diversity
The new ARCTICA Engine is one of the most compact 5-axes wet-millers and grinders available on the market, with high-quality design, for high precision. Thanks to the swivel range of up to 25 degrees, even geometrically demanding constructions can be precisely processed. The removable tool magazines and the integrated, automatic tool-changer, permit high safety and maximum user-friendliness.
Best possible and durable results are realised, thanks to the high-quality materials of ARCTICA Elements, that have been provided with a patented holder design, particularly for use in the ARCTICA Engine. ARCTICA Elements offer many possibilities for individual dental solutions, directly based upon functional and aesthetic needs.
ARCTICA Scan - the efficient solution
The semi-automatic KaVo ARCTICA Scan, is the perfect addition to the ARCTICA Engine, with respect to diversity and flexibility. The scan process with structured light projection, is very simple: place object, set scan angle, start scanning by pressing the button, ready. The live image preview affords higher quality, increased safety and also saves time during the scanning process.
ARCTICA Design - simple, logical and user-friendly
The ARCTICA Design software is user-friendly and its logical menu guidance, is based upon the known steps of traditional dental procedures. The 3D software visualises the preparation model, plus its antagonist and immediately delivers intelligent, three-dimensional design suggestions, for perfect results - whether inlays, onlays, bridges or multi-part frameworks.
The ARCTICA system components scanner, CAD software and engine, can always be combined with individual Everest system components. Connection to the free-of-charge Everest Portal, is also unproblematic.
