Gold Standard Image Quality

For advanced panoramic imaging, ORTHOPANTOMOGRAPH OP200 D is a wise investment for today and tomorrow.

Consistent, repeatable gold standard image quality with a versatile selection of imaging programs and automatically correct imaging values offer the power to diagnose quickly and efficiently. The advanced panoramic unit easily achieves excellent quality images with the help of panoramic Automatic Exposure Control (AEC), defining individual exposure values for every patient to enable a quicker workflow and optimized patient dose. All aspects of making gold standard image quality are carefully designed to meet the needs of even the most demanding practitioners.

Accurate and Stable Patient Positioning

Correct panoramic positioning is assured by three automatically operated positioning laser lights, and a rigid 5-point positioning system eliminates patient movement. The open design allows easy viewing and positioning of the patient from either the left or right side.

For efficient clinical use, OP200 D’s patient support system is accurate, stable, and intuitive.

Unbeatable Performance and Upgradeability

The original ORTHOPANTOMOGRAPH is built to last. The OP200 D design allows extreme patient load and throughput. In addition to the basic panoramic programs, special imaging programs are available to facilitate easy diagnosis, even with difficult clinical conditions. Furthermore, using Automatic Exposure Control (AEC) enables a quicker workflow as well as optimization of patient radiation dose. Decades of experience in imaging is combined in ORTHOPANTOMOGRAPH OP200 D, for your benefit.

OP200 D can be upgraded with a cephalometric arm, which can be positioned either on the left or right side for optimum use of space and user-experience. The cephalometric option can be factory installed or field upgraded according to need.

AEC Reduces Radiation Exposure

The ORTHOPANTOMOGRAPH™ OP200 D automatically defines, with Automatic Exposure Control (AEC), individual exposure values for every patient, no matter their size. This enables a quicker workflow as well as optimization of patient radiation dose. Automatic Spine Compensation values to reduce spinal shadow in the image are individualized for each patient.

V-Shaped Beam Optimizes Image Quality

The V-shaped X-ray beam adapts to the human anatomy, ensuring a homogeneous image is produced. With a V-shaped beam, greater detail and a wider mandibular image layer is obtained as well as more penetrating power for the thicker maxilla area.

Clinically Proven Imaging Geometries

OP200 D has the most versatile selection of different imaging programs, with imaging geometries optimized for each. For example, the Ortho Zone program provides a special geometry to solve two common imaging problems: metal artefacts in the molar region of the condyle, and the need for an exceptionally wide anterior layer for patients with malocclusion.

For follow-up cases or when a full panoramic image is not required, the segmented panoramic program can be used to expose only regions of diagnostic interest.

Unsurpassed Cephalometric Results

OP200 D uses proprietary Automatic Facial Contour (AFC) method for soft tissue enhancement in lateral views. The unit automatically adjusts the exposure values during scanning for better soft tissue definition. Dose reduction is achieved for orthodontic applications with a fully adjustable lateral cephalometric imaging area.
