The SURGmatic line of surgical instruments offer good speed and torque and can be used for a number of clinical applications, including micro-surgery, bone splitting, or fixing implants. KaVo SURGmatic surgical instruments feature the new hexagon clamping system, which is specially designed to extend the working life of your tools, yet still be compatible with standard burs and tools.

The SURGmatic contra-angle handpiece S201 XL/XC has the EXPERTgrip to improve surgeon grip, comfort and hygiene. This surgical piece has a detachable head and shank to make cleaning a breeze. It features both an internal rinsing system and external rinsing system with a connector attached to the head. It also has both an external cooling connection and interior cooling system to promote patient and provider comfort.

KaVo offers the SURGmatic S11 L surgical handpiece, which also features the EXPERTgrip. These surgical dental instruments can be used with straight burs with a standard 44.5 mm length, and can also be used with contra-angle burs. These high performance surgical dental instruments have an operating speed of 11-1,500 RPM, and max torque of 55 Ncm. They can be used for many tasks, including milling, drilling, cutting threads and mounting implants. A small diameter promotes visualization of the operating area. A unique characteristic of the INTRA LUX CL3-09 contra-angle handpiece not found in other INTRA products is the internal and external cooling features.

KaVo also features the INTRA LUX CL 10 contra-angle handpiece. This line of dental surgery instruments has a transmission ratio of 1:1. With a maximum operating speed of 300 to 40,000 rpm and a max torque of 10 Ncm, these oral surgery instruments are powerful additions to any practice.
