KaVo Dental receives German Design Award 2026 for KaVo amiQa dental unit

The KaVo amiQa dental unit has been honored with the prestigious German Design Award 2026.

The award ceremony took place last Friday, where the two product managers, Christine Schmidt and Larissa Cabral, accepted the award on behalf of the company.

This distinction highlights the high level of design quality and innovative strength that KaVo has represented in the dental market for decades.

Launched in 2025, the KaVo amiQa dental unit combines ergonomic working, intuitive operation, and reliable technology in a compact, aesthetically pleasing design. It offers dentists an efficient, comfortable, and cost-effective solution for everyday practice.

The German Design Award is one of the most internationally renowned awards for outstanding design. Presented by the German Design Council, it has recognized exceptional achievements in product design, communication design, and architecture since 2012. Only nominated products are eligible to participate in the competition – a multi-stage selection process with an international jury ensures the highest quality standards.

With the award for the KaVo amiQa, a product is being honored that uniquely combines functional precision, ergonomic design, and modern aesthetics.

The recognition as part of the German Design Award 2026 is of particular significance, as Frankfurt/Rhine-Main will hold the title of World Design Capital next year, placing the region at the center of the global design and innovation scene.

KaVo is delighted to receive this award and sees it as confirmation of its commitment to combining dental technology at the highest level with outstanding design.
