The jury was unanimous: the new DIAGNOcam Vision Full HD intraoral camera deserves a gold prize. “The ‘KaVo DIAGNOcam Vision Full HD’ is the first intraoral camera on the dental market which provides two additional images for in-depth insight into the tooth structure with one single shot, thus enabling the early recognition of caries – without changing the camera attachment or X-raying the patient.”

The jury continued: “The high quality of the full HD images, which are clear, fully distortion-free and depict natural colours, is remarkable. Also, the low camera weight makes handling comfortable and fatigueless thanks to sophisticated ergonomics. A revolutionary product which leads us to expect a considerable influence on traditional treatment methods, not only because early recognition of caries can enable a tooth to be saved or avoid deep drilling, but also because the patients can avoid X-rays and radiation exposure.”
