KaVo ProXam 3D Academy - Advanced CBCT Masterclasses for clinicians
We invite you to a webinar demonstrating how to make effective use of advanced technology, including AI, in day-to-day 3D imaging diagnostics.
We will demonstrate how to correctly commission diagnostic examinations in the fields of endodontics, surgery and implant planning. We will also show you how to make full use of the data contained in 3D examinations using the tools available in the Romexis diagnostic software.
You will learn how to properly locate the anatomical structures of interest, how to take the necessary measurements correctly, and how to use this data to plan treatment in specific areas of dentistry.
The following topics will be discussed during the meeting:
- Endo treatment, implant planning, cysts, Root fractures, impacted teeth.
- Navigating a CBCT scan – the potential for assessing tissues and pathological conditions by viewing the scan as cross-sections, volumetric reconstructions and 2D reconstructions (MPR – multi-planar reconstruction).
- Taking measurements, planning the placement of dental implants, locating accessory canals and impacted teeth, and other diagnostic issues encountered in day-to-day dental practice.
- The quality of X-ray examinations – what factors influence it, how to assess it, and how to eliminate potential errors that could compromise the quality of radiological examinations.
- AI and interpretation of 3D X-ray images in dentistry.
Taking part in the meeting will enable participants to make informed use of the 3D diagnostic capabilities offered by modern scanners and advanced software.
They will also learn how to interpret CBCT scans in specific clinical situations in order to extract the maximum amount of information from them.
Implant-supported prosthetics is now an increasingly common approach to the functional and aesthetic restoration of missing teeth in our patients. When considering how to carry out this type of treatment correctly, it is important to ensure accurate pre-implant diagnostic assessment using imaging techniques. Nowadays, it is almost standard practice for such examinations to consist mainly of 3D scans. This is due to the specific nature of the surgical procedure and the location of the surgical site in the immediate vicinity of anatomically important structures. Three-dimensional imaging technology is ideally suited to this purpose. Furthermore, using specialised software, it is possible to plan the positioning of implants in a manner that is optimal for future prosthetic work. Taking into account the distribution of masticatory forces and biomechanics, we can plan a restoration that is aesthetic, functional and durable, and, most importantly, one that does not cause trauma to our patient’s stomatognathic system.
The following topics will be discussed during the meeting:
- AI tools within implant planning in Romexis software
- working effectively with software designed for CBCT scans,
- proper measurements of the available bone tissue
- usage of the implant library in Romexis
- surgical guide planification in “All in one software”

We invite you to a webinar on diagnostic imaging in endodontics.
During this on line event, we will explore together how advanced imaging technologies are revolutionising modern diagnostics. Together, we will examine strategies for the effective use of various diagnostic techniques, such as computed tomography and X-rays, to accurately assess the condition of dental tissues and roots. We will also analyse images and demonstrate how accurate diagnoses can influence the effectiveness of endodontic treatment. Join our webinar to expand your knowledge, gain practical skills and improve the quality of endodontic diagnostics that you can offer your patients.
This webinar will provide an introduction to:
- CBCT scans appropriate for endo specialists
- the diagnosis of the anatomy of teeth requiring endodontic treatment,
- localising fractures, cracks and perforations in imaging studies,
- the diagnosis of periodontal lesions,
- measurements in endo cases.
