The IDS 2025 countdown is on! We have prepared comprehensive information for you that promises a relaxed and successful stay in Cologne during the International Dental Show. Here you can find out everything about opening times, admission prices, how to get to IDS, hotels, restaurants and much more. Now the journey can begin!

IDS 2025 dates and opening hours

IDS 2025 will take place from Tuesday, March 25 to Saturday, March 29, 2025 
(each from 9:00 to 18:00).

The first day of the trade fair is reserved for the dental trade and importers.

Box office

  • Day ticket: 15,00 €
  • 2-day ticket: € 19.00
  • Season ticket: 24,00 €
  • Day ticket for students*: € 7.50

* against appropriate identification

IDS admission ticket as a ticket

The ticket (2nd class) is only valid during the trade fair and for public transportation in the extended network of the Rhine-Sieg Transport Association (VRS) and the Rhine-Ruhr Transport Association (VRR). Excluded from this are Deutsche Bahn AG trains subject to a surcharge, such as IC/EC or ICE.

Order IDS admission tickets online

You can order your admission ticket in the online store on the IDS homepage. After payment, you will receive your admission ticket in the form of an e-ticket by e-mail during the course of the day. The proof of purchase will then be sent to you by post. Please print out the e-ticket and bring it with you to the trade fair. This will save you time at the cash desk and on-site registration.

Travel to IDS 2025

Arrival by car

10 highways lead to the highway ring around Cologne. This will take you directly to the exhibition center without any intersections or traffic lights. Simply follow the green signs for “Koelnmesse”. There are around 14,500 parking spaces around the exhibition grounds. From there, free shuttle buses will take you to the entrances.

Arrival by train

The ICE train station Köln Messe/Deutz and the excellent local transport connections make it easy to travel by train.

Free public transportation

Exhibitors and visitors to IDS can use all public transportation (2nd class) in and around Cologne free of charge with their admission ticket. This does not apply to Deutsche Bahn AG trains, which are subject to a surcharge.
